" Spend some time alone every day."

~His Holiness the Dalai Lama

I think this is a very good advise. In this bustling and noisy world, we tend to be swept away by the current of daily events. We are constantly engaged in activities around us. At times we get too excited and engrossed deeply into it. So much so, we have forgotten to life our lives.

Therefore, it is good to sit back and reflect upon ourselves for a few minutes each day. This is to clam ourselves and bring ourselves back to basic. By being back to basis, we become more mindful of ourselves. We will be be aware of our thoughts, speech and action.

I do that every morning. Just before I send my children to school each day before sun rise. I find a quiet place and be by myself all alone. There is no TV. No radio. No wife. No children. No nothing. Just by myself. I some times opened my eyes and some times shuts my eyes. Just 5 to 10 minutes each day and it helps.

I hope you try it too
