Virtually everyone knows Social Communications has impacted our culture, our politics and our economy. But do we understand where along the development curve of these new technologies we stand today. Gary Vaynerchuk has brought forward a new book called The Thank You Economy - The Power of One on One Attention.
He suggests the DNA of our grandparents was much more aligned, more human, and more likely to be successful than many of those who control business today. The big companies are scared because they don't understand how they will scale human to human interaction and understanding. Vaynerchuk suggests that humans can and do scale once they are connected. For instance, if Nike says something to you in advertising you may accept it or not, but if your uncle recommends something or someone, that is very useful and accepted information.
This is powerful and very interesting!
