I've wrote about the importance of "speaking mindfully" about half a year ago. And yet I did not speak mindfully myself. I did not do what I professed. I did not practice hard enough.
Browsing a book today, I found this passage written by Ajahn Chah which reflects my situation. It's called "Leaking roof"
Most of us just talk about practice without having really done it. This is like the man whose roof is leaking on one side so that he sleep on the other side of the house. When the sunshine comes in on that side, he rolls over the other side, all the time thinking. "When will I ever get a decent house like everyone?" If the whole roof leaks, then he just gets up and leave. This is not the way to do things, but that's how most people are. - Ajahn Chah
May I also take this opportunity to ask for forgiveness if I've misled you from the truth. I'm sorry.
I guess, I've still a long way to go. And obviously I'm not happy with myself. But I'll not let this impede my will to achieve spiritual success. I'm learning each day. I'm struggling each day. But I'll go on walking. Till I find my way out of Samsara
