Since 2009, the Summits for Urban Animal Strategies has used the PetLynx Corporate Wiki for Summit communications as well as OpenSpace conversations and commentary.  In 2011, all Summit program subscribers were provided a new username and password for a dedicated OpenSpace Wiki. This new facility for Summit Advocates, Mentors, Alumni and Associates, is where to monitor the action, participate in the various industry conversations and peruse draft documents, industry communications and comments.

During the 2011 Summit, the public area of this new OpenSpace wiki was open for all viewers, however, this access is now closed and is only available to Summit subscribers or on Twitter by following hashtag #ISUAS.  The public area of the OpenSpace wiki will be developed to carry announcements, draft documents and important communications from each OpenSpace conversation which will benefit the entire industry.  The OpenSpace public area will be made available to the more than 40,000 stakeholders in Canada at no charge.

The annual subscription for this service is $300 which includes username/password access and support as required.  The OpenSpace subscription is included in the annual Summit Program subscription as well as the subscription to the Regional Summits each spring.  Please contact Judi Cannon 705.749.6607 or subscribe to one of the Regional Summits in 2012 if you wish to become involved in the Summit program or any one of the OpenSpace conversations now underway.

Delegates to the 2011 International Summit for Urban Animal Strategies initiated 19 conversations during OpenSpace.  Each of these conversations will be highlighted by the convener during the next few months.
